Breve descrizione dell'attività di ricerca:
The research project investigates quantum communication protocols for modular quantum computing architectures based on solid-state platforms. It aims to exploit adiabatic protocols inspired by Coherent Tunneling by Adiabatic Passage and optimal control theory to achieve high-fidelity and fast inter-core quantum operations—such as state transfer, swapping, and entanglement sharing—between quantum processing units connected via quantum interconnects. The activity combines theoretical modeling and numerical simulations to provide design guidelines for scalable and fault-tolerant modular quantum systems.
