Alessandro Ridolfo is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Ettore Majorana” (DFA) of the University of Catania since October 2018. He graduated in Physics at University of Messina in 2008, and there he got the PhD in Physics in 2011. Prof. Ridolfo is an expert of non-perturbative light-matter interaction and open quantum systems. He performs his research activities at  DFA in the “Theoretical Condensed Matter & Quantum Technologies group”, and he is actively collaborating with many research groups at University of Messina (Italy), University of Southampton (United Kingdom), and RIKEN (Japan). His scientific output is very well covered and known in the scientific community, and often published on high impact factor journals.
