Khushi Muhammad Khan is a PhD researcher in photovoltaics at the University of Salerno and the University of Catania, funded by the European Union. His research focuses on developing innovative transparent conductive materials using RF and DC sputtering to enhance solar cell efficiency. He holds an MPhil in Physics, specializing in optoelectronic devices, and has extensive experience in nanomaterials synthesis, material characterization (XRD, Raman, SEM), and photovoltaic simulations. With multiple publications in high-impact journals, he actively contributes to advancing solar energy technologies. He is also a reviewer for reputed journals and a member of international research organizations.

Research Topic: Development of Innovative Transparent Conductive materials for High-Efficiency Solar Cells
Research Activity:
My research focuses on the fabrication and optimization of indium-free transparent conductive oxides (TCOs) for advanced photovoltaic applications. I conduct RF and DC sputtering to develop novel TCO materials and multi-layer TCO structures, such as TCO/metal/TCO, to enhance electrical conductivity and optical transparency. These improvements aim to maximize the efficiency of solar cells by reducing resistive losses and improving light transmission.
