Aref is a physics PhD student that is working on “aerospace” and “nuclear” research applications. Most of his activity is part of ongoing projects for European Space Agency and other entities operating in the space and nuclear sectors. He is also carrying out experiments on an important type of detector for use in high-energy physics and contributing to this sensor development, being manufactured by Brookhaven National Laboratory (U.S.). European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), is his external office where he is going to be involved in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) related research activities as the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator. He is supervised by different professors and tutors in Italy, Switzerland and U.S.
