My research interests concern the theoretical physics of condensed matter, particularly low-dimensional solid-state systems. Most of my research activity has focused on studying the electronic and optical properties of graphene and graphene-related compounds, addressed to both fundamental physics and applied physics for new devices. Over the years, I have developed good analytical and numerical skills and frequently supported theoretically different international experimental groups.
