Sviluppo di metodi di microscopia ottica ad alta risoluzione (microscopia confocale, microscopia a super-risoluzione). Sviluppo di metodi di analisi quantitativa delle immagini e ottimizzazione dei protocolli di marcatura tramite sonde fluorescenti. Applicazione su modelli cellulari dei tumori, al fine di quantificare le alterazioni indotte da oncogene sull'organizzazione del genoma e quantificare il conseguente danno al DNA.
