** Dr.Antonino Del Popolo** completed his undergraduated studies in Bologna University in 1990, discussing the thesis *Pulsars observation as a probe of General Relativity*, and his graduated studies in Catania University in 1994, discussing the thesis *The evolution of clusters of Galaxies in a Standard CDM model*. He worked as a researcher in CRL (NICT) Institute (Tokyo), in Argelander Institute (Bonn), as an assistant professor in Bosphorus University (Istanbul), and full professor in Istanbul Technical University (Istanbul). Dr. Del Popolo is researcher-Adjunct Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of Catania University. He has been visiting professor in Bogazici University (Istanbul), Sofia University, Sao Paulo University, Brazil, Natal IIP institute, Brazil, and IMP-CAS, Lanzhou (China), where he was awarded the prize PIFI of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His main interest is Cosmological Physics (CDM models, dark matter, dark energy, and structure formation). He has also been involved with stochastic forces in gravitational systems, and migration models in extra-planetary systems. Recently, he has been working on the effects of baryons on CDM predictions on small scales showing how baryon physics can solve the weak points of the ΛCDM model on kpcs scales, and the role of dark matter on compact objects structure. He is author of more than 200 papers with h index (general) 33 and h-index first author 24 (i.e., papers are not the result of big collaborations, and the first author is in the largest case Dr. Del Popolo)

Dr. Del Popolo's main main interest is Cosmological Physics (CDM models, structure formation). He has also been involved with stochastic forces in gravitational systems, and migration models in extra-planetary systems. Recently, he has been working on the effects of baryons on CDM predictions on small scales showing how baryon physics can solve the weak points of the ΛCDM model on kpcs scales. He is also working with the effects of dark matter on the structure of compact objects. He is author of more than 200 papers with h index (general) 30 and h-index first author 23 (i.e., papers are not the result of big collaborations, and the first author is in the largest case Dr. Del Popolo)
