Seminars
NanoBreak&Lab è un ciclo di seminari rivolto principalmente a Studentesse e Studenti interessati a conoscere ed approfondire l’ambito della fisica sperimentale della materia condensata. In ogni incontro, prendendo spunto da un articolo scientifico di grande rilevanza sarà presentata e discussa una tematica di ricerca portata avanti dalla comunità scientifica internazionale. L’articolo verrà condiviso una settimana prima dell’evento tramite il canale Telegram dedicato. Occasionalmente gli incontri si concluderanno con visite o brevi esperienze all’interno dei laboratori del DFA. I seminari NanoBreak&Lab nascono da una organizzazione congiunta DFA e CNR-IMM e si tengono circa ogni tre settimane.

Recently it has been shown that proton-neutron pairing in N=Z nuclei
can be accurately described by a condensate of alpha-like quartets built by two neutrons and two protons coupled to the total isospin T=0 [1].

Description
heavy photon portal to Dark Matter is under investigation in accelerator-based experiments. These heavy photons are a natural component of Dark Matter and allow us to explain a number of recent intriguing observations in astrophysics.
