Inflation and dark energy in quantum gravity

Abstract. Both the early and late universe correspond to phases of accelerated expansion. Moreover, the latest DESI-DR2 results indicate that dark energy behaves like a dynamical field rather than a cosmological constant (as in standard ΛCDM cosmology). This means that both inflation and dark energy can be described in a similar way, employing a simple scalar field rolling down its potential. I will present general features of inflation and dark energy and briefly describe them with a Quantum Gravity approach.
