Stability of Astrophysical Magnetic Fields and Dynamo Action

My research project is devoted to the formulation and numerical investigation of dynamo models aimed at reproducing the origin and evolution of astrophysical magnetic fields. In particular, our efforts will be focused towards the exploration of possible dynamo mechanisms acting inside protoneutron stars, in the cores of red giants and in the Sun's interior.
