Recent results from the DAMPE space mission

On June 24, 2021, starting at 15:00, Professor Ivan De Mitri (GSSI) will talk on Recent results from the DAMPE space mission.

The seminar will take place online.

Abstract. The DAMPE space mission is continuously operating and collecting data since its launch on December 2015. Science goals includes the study of galactic cosmic rays till about 100 TeV, gamma ray astronomy and the indirect search for signatures of dark matter annihilation/decay. After a short description of the mission and the detector main features, results obtained so far will be reviewed, including the spectral measurements on cosmic electrons, protons, helium nuclei together with preliminary outcomes from the analysis of heavier nuclei, gamma ray astronomy and dark matter searches.
