European Summer School on Experimental Nuclear Astrophysics (ESSENA24)

The 12th European Summer School on Experimental Nuclear Astrophysics (ESSENA 2024) will take place at the “Grand Hotel Faraglioni”, Acitrezza (Catania), from June 16 to June 22, 2024.

ESSENA is an international school established in 2001 and it is mainly devoted to the education of young PhD students and young researchers. The school is part of the European Network of Nuclear Astrophysics Schools (ENNAS), having the common task of educating and improving young physicists in nuclear physics, astrophysics and their mutual relationship in the field of nuclear astrophysics.

The ESSENA24 is organized by the ASFIN group of Catania and it is supported by INFN-LNS, Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia “E. Majorana” (DFA-UniCT), ChETEC-INFRAIA, Centro Siciliano di Fisica Nucleare e Struttura della Materia (CSFNSM) and NuPECC.

The school is chaired by Professor R. G. Pizzone (DFA UniCT & INFN-LNS) and Professor L. Lamia (DFA UniCT & INFN-LNS).
