Effect of energy technologies in our daily life

Abstract. In this presentation I will discuss the broader impact of the developments in materials science and energy technologies in transportation, communication and health. The energy problems and their effects on human life will be given in scientific and popular level. Such issues and their solutions will be discussed in a wide range from electrical vehicles, batteries, nuclear power plants and finally quantum computers.
