EPS Young Minds in Catania

Young Minds is an initiative of the European Physical Society (EPS) aimed at establishing a network of young students and researchers with a passion for Physics. Main activities include the organization of events towards popularizing physics and science, and research seminars at a level accessible for undergraduate students.

Since 2011, Catania hosts a local chapter of EPS Young Minds, grouping together both undergrad and grad students, along with several researchers and professors of the DFA. The Catania Chapter's activities are well known also to freshmen, who are involved in various events such as the (traditional) Tombola (Fisica) di Natale in Aula Magna. News on the activities are mainly disseminated through the chapter's social channels.

The last activities of the EPS-YM Catania Chapter are the subject of a paper recently appeared on EPS News.
