Young Scientist Prize in Statistical Physics to DFA Alumnus

Manlio De Domenico is one of the three young researchers who have been selected by the C3 Commission on Statistical Physics of the International Union for Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) to receive the Young Scientist Prizes in Statistical Physics. These awards are delivered once every fourth year, on the occasion of the StatPhys Conference, which will take place in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in July 2019. Manlio De Domenico received his BSc and MSc in Physics from the University of Catania at #DFA, and received an international PhD in Nuclear and Particle Astrophysics from Scuola Superiore di Catania. Manlio De Domenico is presently Head of the Complex Multilayer Networks (CoMuNe) Research Unit at the Center for Information Technology of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler.
