Luigi Amico in the management committee of AtomQT

Luigi Amico #DFA has been included in the Management Committee of AtomQT: Quantum Technologies with Ultra-Cold Atoms, whereof he was one of the proposers. This project is one of the Actions of COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), and aims at creating a large network of expert groups on cold-atom quantum physics that will act as a catalyst in the rapid development and commercialization of quantum technology based on ultra-cold atoms and Bose-Einstein condensates. This will hopefully lead to groundbreaking advances in metrology, cryptography, communications and computations, biology, and geology, amongst others.
