"Giuseppe Davide Paparo" Award for young scientists in quantum technologies
Applications are open for the second edition of the Giuseppe Davide Paparo Award of the University of Catania, dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Davide Paparo, MSc, who prematurely passed away in 2015 due to a paragliding accident in Madrid, where he was performing research as a PhD student in Theoretical physics at the Complutense University.
The award is of 2000 €, and applications are open to young researchers, both Italian and foreign, who have published relevant contributions to the field of Quantum technologies. Eligible candidates should have received a PhD within 7 years from the publication of the award notice. The deadline for applications is December 31, 2018.
