CONTEST: Accendi le idee!

"Accendi le idee!" is the title of the new contest reserved for PhD students in Materials Science and Nanotechnology and aimed at presenting a scientific research project with a budget of €100k, to be carried out in three years, on topics of interest to the PhD. The contest will take place on July 7, 2025, starting at 3:00 pm, at the conference room of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of UniCT.

Each team, composed of 3 or 4 PhD students, from the different active cycles, will have 10 minutes to explain the project to a commission of 5 professors, who will judge according to 5 criteria:

a) Innovation and originality of the project

b) Quality of the definition of the necessary skills

c) Completeness of the experimental and dissemination plan

d) Expenditure criterion

e) Level of cooperation of the team

The aim of the initiative is to develop some transversal skills (creativity, cooperation, planning, public speaking, use of AI) typical of a PhD student, through a contest among the students of the PhD in Materials Science and Nanotechnology.
