PhD in Complex Systems for Physical, Socio-economic and Life Sciences - 36° cycleBianca Rumore, after a Bachelor in Sociology at University of Perugia, she obtained the Master in Sociology and Social Research, graduating with full marks with a thesis on human body modifications, technological innovations and prostheses in the European context.
Since 2018 she has been a founding member of the Imaginary section of the Italian Association of Sociology (AIS).
Since 2020 she has been a PhD student in Complex Systems at University of Catania.
Her research project is currently focused on emerging technologies and their social and ethical implications. She is analyzing, through mixed methods, the uses of wearable and incorporated technologies for the treatment of visual disabilities.
