As of 2010, Events, including Seminars, are managed via a computerized  Department Agenda. This Agenda is based on the Indico software package, developped at CERN.
Users may create events directly on the Agenda system. To be able to do so, they must inititally be registered as users of the system. See the section  "Create an Event or Seminar" for the relevant procedures.

The Agenda automatically archives all events created within it.
Events, including Seminars, which took place by 31 December 2009 are archived separately and can be accessed via the link "Archive" from the left-side menu.
