Bassi Prize to Paolo Russotto

Dr. Paolo Russotto has been granted the 2011 “Pietro Bassi” prize of the Società Italiana di Fisica “for introducing a novel methodology to measure the asymmetry term and for its apllication to the experiment ASY-EOS, as spokesperson and international coordinator of the experiment”.

Dr. Russotto holds a research contract jointly financed by our Department and INFN, tutor Prof. G. Politi, on this subject: “Studu of heavy-ion reactions with stable and radioactive beams, using the CHIMERA multidetector”.
