Training

Giuseppe Russo was born in Catania on 08 April 1950. He graduated in Physics, nuclear orientation in 1972 with 110/110 marks and honors from the University of Catania. After graduation he held a scholarship from the Sicilian Center for Nuclear Physics and the Structure of Matter from July 1973 to October 1974. He obtained the qualifications for teaching in upper secondary schools in the competition classes: Physics, Mathematics and Physics and Physics, Nuclear Plants and Related Technologies "with full marks. He was the winner of a Physics chair for secondary school. He was the holder of a scholarship from the Von Humboldt foundation at the Max-Plank Institut in Heidelberg, a four-year contract at the Faculty of Science of the University of Catania. He obtained, in July 1977, the diploma of the School of Specialization in Physics, Nuclear section, with a mark of 50/50 with honors.
