From Catania to Washington DC: a successful physicist

After obtaining his MSc and PhD in Physics from the University of Catania, while a pupil (now Alumnus) of the Scuola Superiore di Catania, then postdoc #coast2coast between Boston University and Stanford University, today Emanuele Francesco Pecora  is a successful physicist and works for the US federal governement as technology manager at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he is concerned with alternative energy sources and manages a 60 M$ portfolio for R&D. But he does not forget Catania, where he has launched the #TEDxSSC (first TEDx in Italy), and presently collaborates with the organization of the forthcoming #TEDxCatania.
